Summary: 2012 Performance and Accountability Report

Chemical Toxicity Assessment (2 activities) CPSC staff addresses a variety of products and hazards related to chemical toxicity by continuing ongoing activities and initiating new activities, depending upon the identification of emerging hazards. The topics will vary but may include the following: lung injuries and fatalities from aerosol waterproofing products, chronic hazard guideline updates, indoor air quality, and metals assessment. Goal: In 2012, CPSC staff will complete at least two risk assessments, technical review activities, or guidance documents related to chemical toxicity.
